Merry Christmas to everyone. Hope Santa brings you what you ask for.
Dan I'm coming to your place for egg nog. We will be having turkey, ham, seafood, baked vegies, salad, pavlova and plum pudding. I'm cooking it all so I hope its not too hot.
You and yours are always Welcome here Tassie. I'll bring out an axe (guitar) & we'll sing Christmas carols. (At least until we start slurring the words and chords...) ;>)
What's pavlova?? (Geez, from that menu, I'm hungry all of a sudden...)
I've been playing (as a serious endeavour) for 36 years now. I have a (home) recording studio in the basement. Nice setup. I play twice a week now (Tues., Thurs.) with two other players. I'm going to start writing again as the newest player is quite competent, and is interested in doing original material. I've been stagnant in composing since '91 as there has been no one to perk anything. My main playing partner moved to Alberta in '93, so I've just been teaching since then.
I've sent a couple of my compositions (musical tracks only as I cannot sing) to jephree as he inquired to me on the subject. He can critique if he likes. (Don't be shy jephree. Lay it on the line.)
Music is the "Magic Power" (Rik Emmet of Triumph)
There's a session here tomorrow night - 6:30 : 10:00 PM. Drop in if you can. I have four axes and I can only play one, so there's extras if you don't want to bring yours on the flight....
