    I've been noticing a popular phrase among teens:

    "That is SO twentieth century"

    Anyway: Best wishes for all.

    Here's four cuts, probably the same as I provided to jephree as the .zip file was still in the sub-dir;

    http://www.cyberus.ca/~danpenny/sample.zip

    (Please post that you have them as I will take them off my webspace once you do. I can only afford a 25MB block of space (at this point) and these are taking up almost 11MB of that. I had to remove two files to get them there.)

    This is all original material written by myself and Barry Caldwell. Barry is (primarily) a jazz bassist whom I met while I was an engineer at Digital Equipment Corp. (Back in the '80's. "Second only to IBM" at the time.) ;>) He was a Large Systems tech and we just hit it off musically. We played three times a week back then. These cuts are mixed down from a 7" reel to reel tape deck (the master tapes) to a cassette deck, then copied over to the system as .wav, then converted to MP3's. This is old technology, I now run the line out from my mixers directly to the computer. So the quality isn't as good as it could be. Someday I'll go through all the paper records of where what (final) cut is, on which tape, and redo them with noise reduction to remove tape hiss etc.

    I play all guitars (double-tracked, lead/rythem(sp?)), and programmed midi-drums, Barry played bass, keys, and also programmed midi-drums.

    Wow, what do the young folks say nowadays; "Way Cool?" ;>)

    I use the webspace to house files, programs, etc for helping people out anyway, very little of it is to house my own files. I burn CD/DVD's for that. I use "Smart FTP" to upload to it. I imagine "D-A-L.com FTP login" would be similar?
