Daylight Saving for WA - Microsoft patch.
Western Australia is starting a trial period of Daylight Saving at 2 am tomorrow morning. Windows users can find a patch that will adjust for the time changes at http://www.microsoft.com.au/timezone
Personally, I've lived very happily without Daylight Saving since I moved to Perth from Melbourne 16 years ago. It always seemed like I was just getting used to the change and it was over for another year. This time around I'm trying a new strategy. A couple of G&Ts before bed, and I'll wake up so late and so whacked out of my skull that I won't give a rat's behind what time it is!

lol We have it for 6 months a year here so its easy to get used to. I love the long daylight hours after tea.

Tassie, I made it to the Apple Isle first time ever in January last year. I spent a couple of days in Strahan - strange to see the sun still above the horizon at 8pm, and the sky still light up to about 9:30!

Yep it takes a bit of getting used to but I love going for a walk on the beach with the dog after tea. Of course it can backfire as its still light enough to mow lawns etc.
