how do i add images to my posts?

Tassie Devil & varygoode know how to do it correctly. You will notice the difference between their posts and mine which is enveloped as an attached image.
My method is to take a screen shot and edit it in Paint to the relevant area then save to my pictures as a .jpg to minimise its bit size.
Then in the reply form at the bottom is an attachment section where you can Browse to your pictures and add your picture as an attachment.
I also wish I knew how to do it otherwise.
