Hi, im getting a new phone in october.... i love my music... never anywhere without my mp3 player and i would like to record video or take pictures every now and again... i like this phone, what do you think about it? it comes boxed with a 512mb memory stick duo (which i will upgrade to 1 or 2gb)

i have read reviews about it, mostly good although a few people have complained about the "soft keys" which, as long as they dont fall out or anything, doesnt bother me.

p.s. im getting it on contract £24 a month with insurance because my mum doesnt trust me with a decent phone because i might lose it or it might get stolen (my friends got mugged the other week and my mum has gone paranoid about me)

Thanks for the tip about the insurance, i thaught you could only get it from the place you baught the item. I think 4.99/month is quite reasonable (compared to the carphone warehouse's £8-£9) ill look around anyway.

edit: online, the cheapest insurance i saw was £5.88

I have the W800i which is a very good phone. Must admit I don't actually use the music capabilities of it too much but as a phone I like it more than the Nokia handsets I've had previously.

Andy, i cannot reply to your PM because of the trouble with our modem.
I keep getting "local area connection is now connected" and about 30 seconds later "a network cable is unplugged" (at the same time, the DSL light is going on and off) so i have to click a link as soon as it says its connected for it to work and its quite hard to browse the net.

anyway, Thanks for the reply, and upgrading my account to a moderator.. i will say hi in the mod section tomorow hopefully because my sis is thinking about getting a cheap ADSL modem we are going to phone up maplins tomorrow and if she wants one, we will go down and get it.
