Hello there, I'm not all that great with computers but was looking for an explanation and some help to fix a problem.

I purchased a new laptop computer and now when i go to my photo album that ws online all the pictures look fuzzy, grainy...like crap really. They did not look like this on my old comp and still dont look like this when i look on other computers. How do i fix this problem??

i guess its all website pictures now, earlier today though everything looked good.

What is the exact make and model of the laptop?

As a test: if you Save a fuzzy on-line pic to your My Pictures folder: Does it come out clear?

it's an hp8210, and yeah i saved one to the desktop and it looked fuzzy as well when it was opened it in windows pitcure viewer

it's a 17" model, the only thing i really knew to try was to go to properties, settings, and check the resolution and bits of color

the sample pictures that come with the computer in the my pictures folder look great, but not the one that i saved in there

And just to clarify your other graphics look OK? It is just pictures on-line or download from on-line?

The pictures online look like crap and the ones i downloaded from onlline looked like crap, but the sample pictures that came on the computer look good. I put some pictures from my digital camera to the comp right now and they came out looking great. So i guess its just all pics from and on the internet.
