Well no not really, in all honesty I'm not that keen on the SLK, what makes his special is its a 55 AMG which is where the 5.5 litre engine makes up for the fact its a bit of a girly car! I'm not a big fan of mercs really but I have been in a ton of them and driven a few and all I'm saying is they are overall quality cars and in a different league to BMW. Obviously all cars and dealers have their flaws and I have no doubt others have sufefred like Claires dad but then no car or dealer is ever perfect.

No complaints really. OK so I had a 1.1 Fiesta which I rammed but as a first car that was an OK drive. Then a Saxo VTR - nice car... and then its big brother a Saxo VTS, again a nice car all round for that kind of price. The Subaru was gorgeous and a pleasure to drive and the Skyline, well that doesn't need any praise. So all in all no nightmares from here. But to talk of all cars driven and not just cars which we have owned then yeh....that A Class was a bloody dog to drive!

All I know is I'm glad I don't own an MGF, eh Nathe?

BLIMEY, is it?! I hadn't realised that. Haven't spoken to him about it at all actually other than the fact that he said he wanted to get another SLK a few months ago. In fact, I haven't even had a proper look at it yet but I think the new styling's quite nice from the front. A 55 AMG - business must be going well - time to ask for a pay rise, lol !

I should bloody hope so! The 3 series beema is the closet thing to "economic" I could find after thrashing a 15MPG Beast around for a year!
