Not far off the truth there. Its already at $1.25 a litre for regular here and they're tipping it will hit $1.50 by the end of the year.

Our regular unleaded petrol has just topped 90 pence a litre, which is about $1.50 US and about $2 AUS (I think). Just sold my Jaguar today, which was getting 13 miles per gallon around town
