    Re: Government's view on exams

hi claire....i was going on the experiences of my friends and seeing *some* of the work of the other sunjects and these seem mainly the easiest to pass compared to some more difficult ones.

i didn't mention theatre studies btw but i would presume similar subject areas to media/film/drama....sorry, i didn't mean any offence...its just the way i, my friends and others i know see it....

anyhow....you chose some other hard subjects and SIX....good on you!!! were they all 1 level or a/s.......i dun 4 a/s this year, cisco and did general studies when i was in y10 n y11

i wouldnt say media/film/drama is easy as you have to write half decent scripts

maybe ill post one my essays on here, you get a 6 page script, on the day of the exam you have never seen before, and are expeected to write an essay on how your would direct perform it, or design the set lighting etc for it, in extreem detail, and why using your own experiance from theatre you have seen or been it.

you didnt cause any offence blibidy blob, just everyone always presumes its an easy subject, and say * no wonder you got a B its easy* i will agree tho, drama and media are easy subjects.
i didnt do general studies for gcse, just a level, and it was the biggest waste of time EVER( it was compulsary) we didnt learn anything that came up on the paper, my A2 paper was " should castles be distroyed or preserved and why" i managed to write 6 pages of twaddle about it, my best freind tho, who told the school she waset sitting the exam, but they said if she didnt sit it, she couldnt sit her other exams, so she just wrote as her responce " i dont care either way" which was classic!

    i have 5 alevels and 1 as
