My computer freezes and then crashes.It is usually whilst using Microsoft software. My games run fine. What happens is the screen freezes and the mouse pointer will only move on the horizontal plane. Seconds later the program that I have got open will shrink to a small fuzzy window and then the screen shows what I have attached......

I have run Spybot, AdAware, Microsoft Antispyware and Norton to no avail and I have the latest ati Video card drivers. Could it be a deep rooted virus. I give up but I would value your advice.

graphics card problems? i somtimes get problems like this, where it crashes and get a scrambled page, its usualy due to driver lockups
