On Tuesday I got a phone call from the local hospital to tell me my January 2005 appointment will be this Thursday 26 May (only nearly 6 months late)
I get this every year from this hospital, another hospital I go to gives me 6 monthly appointments (and keeps them)

I drive to local hospital after spending 20 minutes trying to find somewhere to park (I like to be near the entrance as I have pain walking) I decided to drive home and phone up ......I asked for the cheif executive but he was not available..(I heard that one before) after about 15 minutes on the phone talking to various members of staff I finally got cheif exec email addy.........so off went an email to him, complaining about the hospitals appointment system, car parking (whats worse you have to pay to park) I dont expect miracles

I know what you mean. My good lady is back in hospital, still waiting fo rthis baby.

To park the car anywhere on the site has to be paid for. To stay longer than 3 hours cost £5. Mind you each patient does have there own TV, email and telephone, just £3.50 per day plus call costs of course.

I may get an apology from the hospital.......last time they messed me about I wrote and complained to my MP.....I got an appointment rather quick then and a four page letter why they operate the system the way they do

I did make one mistake I should have sent the email to the chairman not the acting cheif exec

This is the second time Eileen has been admitted with high blood pressure. Last time they released her the next day, so she might be out again tommorrow

She is booked in to be induced on Monday so fingers crossed they will start her early.

Irene never got that far both of ours were early......why does it start at 3.00 AM ?
