a lot of people go on about M$ and the way it's operating systems work and security issues...without Bill Gates and M$ half the people on this forum plus others would not be online..

So it's nice to see such a powerful person donating money like he does like he says

"We have a historic chance to build a world where all people, no matter where they're born, can have preventative care, vaccines and treatments they need to live a healthy life "

and so donates another $250m HERE so all of us using M$ products pat yourselves on the back, if we didn't buy his products he wouldn't be able to donate so much to good causes...

I totally agree and have a lot of respect for the guy but I think many peoples point is that their should be more competition and more choices available.

There's lot of choices .....I'm playing with mandrake at the mo . ...if M$ hadn't done it someone else would have maybe we'd all be using Apples look what Apples done to the mp3 player world with its IPod

Yeh I know there are choices but for businesses especially it's not feasable, everyone uses Windows so you have to fall in line. But anyway I'm not complaining, I just think that's peoples main argument.
