... Where is everyone?
It's been quiet for the past week or so. Nothing to read while im busy lol.
Whats everyone up to?
Well I decided to have the first week of my holidays just relaxing and sorting out things which went quite well except I was very bored. As for the 2nd week of holidays starting, I was going to start my revision because I haven't picked up my books in the past month. I revised a lot, and now I planned on starting again today but ended up visiting the butterfly Farm insteadTomorrow I'll do about 3/4 hours revision, but then we'll be going hiking which you forgot to mention btw Rockinteenbabe. Hahaha, a bunch of kids doing the hike in Kinver which we didn't do last time we visting there. Haha, firstly because we're a bunch of lazy sods when it comes to actually doing some work, but secondly because the last time I mentionned it here I ended up having a discussion about why we never go very far:
a. we were hiding stones (or rather very large and heavy rocks) in each other's bags
b. we kept hiding in bushes and running in the opposite way when the rest of the group had passed
and c. because whenever we found a roundabout we'd think of a good way to trick the rest of the group
Oooh, I can't wait until tomorrow![]()
That was a diagram of the formation of the Earth and how different sub atomic particals collide together at such a huge speed and amounty of pressure to form how we know it as the Earth lol via "The Big Bang"
We can see the formation of the stars (how stars are made) and how they die. These are often called White dwarfs, Red dwarfs, and black dwarfs at different stages of their life. Obviously white when born, red when fully alive and black when dying.
I don't think I can see anything about red shift or blue shift on that diagram because it's too smallBut red shift and blue shift happens to everyone because it allows us to see things moving towards us and away because they release a "glow" that is not visble to the human eye.
Oh, and I see the Hubble satellite (Space telescope) orbiting Earth named by it's creator Prof. Hubble!
Haha, I think i'll revise Science first If I managed to pick that off the top of my headAre you going to tell me whether I got it alll right Jeph?

Well I am off with my significant other to a distant star on the 26th April it the distant corner of the universe called Las Vegas NV. Shame the Star Trek experience has closed at the Hilton but I gather Quarks bar is now opened in Fremont Street.
It is my retirement treat to my self as that day is my official retirement day so any of the DAL community if you you are out in LV during that time until the 11th May give me a shout and perhaps could have a pint and a chat.

Enjoy your visit Bootneck! I was going to say that you'd be travelling off soon and wondered whether you'd already gone since you hadn't been around for a while. You're a few months too early going to the States for when I visit but all the same I hope you enjoy your stay! Haha, you get back and then just over a month later I fly off for an early "well done for your exams" treat before I actually get the results![]()
Will you be travelling around while you're staying in LV or staying put? Ooh, I hope you have a fantastic holiday, oh, and Happy Retirement!
