LMAO - it was YOU that started the whole llama thing, lol !!

Although I'm quite clever, I'm not especially academic so I didn't go to university - I made a success of myself from a relatively young age in a "vocational" rather than "academic" career, i.e. having a degree wouldn't have helped me in my line of work. So, in that respect, I'm a few years ahead of all of my mates in terms of experience in life n stuff (being engaged, having a bunch of nice cars, 3-bed family house, etc) so I think that makes me sound pretty old sometimes But I'm only 26 ! Still young enough to join all you "youngsters" down the local "discotheque" on a Saturday night dancing to all that new-fangled "rap" music, lol

Finished the first side of the car at about 1am last night. Put my new wheels on too.

    BLING !!

Shopping again?! Sounds like you go so often that you must just keep seeing the same stuff all the time! Did you get anything nice when you went into town yesterday?

i pictured u as older than 26 to be honist, mainly because of how little ive achieved in nearly 19 years, id pictured to be where u are now u must have been older.
neither of my parents did degrees, my mums a house wife ( and spends her days agrivating me) and my dad worked up from tea boy to reagonal managing director by being big scary and learning a few words that make him sound clever, that and hes good with money ( or was untill he had me, then he learnt that i was better at spending money than he was at earning and managing it)

so neither of them see any point of me going to university " and waisitng my time and money"
my mum needs to go to town to pay a cheque in, and i need to pay a cheque in of £400 that i wrote out to my dad... yesterday i got undies a top a gorgous jacket and some lipstick... tday imma get the 2 pairs of shoes i ment to get yesterday but forgotto go back for, and maybe some jeans

what can i say, i like clothes i have enuff teashirts to wear one every day for about a year and have a few left over!!!

LMAO - yeah, I thought it sounded like that's how things had turned out for him! Poor bloke - works hard all his life and then you go and spend all his money in town every day Your dad sounds just like me in 15-20 years time actually. I've got a lot of respect for people who've worked their way up from the bottom to the top.

My dad sprayed his souped-up convertible Mini in metallic lilac. Nice colour but VERY girly. Would suit the Corsa actually With some phat 16" wheels

    What's a lace effect?

lace effect, i saw it on " pimp my ride" actually, despite hatingalmost everything thye do to there cars, they make em all look pathetic if u as me, i saw them do a confertible with lace effect, basically they sprayed the car as normal, and put actuall lace on the car, and sprayed over again in one shade lighterr, then removed the lace, then sealed it, it left the lace design behind, and looked absolutly beautiful, but id only want it as a fewature, not on the whole car.
heres a random pic i found on google... apart from the colours being horrible, imagen it in a slighlty lilacy silver
    lace effect paint

ps most of the money i spend now is my own. i get £80 a month from my dad, and then i earn about £120 ontop of that, so in theory most of the money i spend is mine
and i never ask for anything ,well very rairly, the last thing i asked for was a school coat like 18 months ago, because i only had a demin jacket ( that was in fashion) and i had an hour walk home from school in the snow. usualy dad just randomly buys me stuff, i dont like asking for things.
ie the pc, i saved up and told dad im buying a pc, its costing me x, and i have enuff money, then he decided well u need an sli system, and u need 2 dvd rewriters and u need a huge screen oh and u need this, so i gave him my grand, and volinteerred to pay the extra

    Oooooh, I seeeeee.

Your suggestion of lilac paint has given me a little bit of inspiration actually. I had my hall, stairs and landing painted last year - I've got REALLY tall stairs which I had no hope of getting to the top of so I got a decorator in. I gave him some light yellow Dulux, which I thought would brighten it up. It did, a bit, but he also painted the ceilings in the same light yellow as well and another bit that ought to have been bright white - long story really but the decorator couldn't get to the very top of the stairs either! So now my ceilings don't reflect the light like they should and I'm actually not too excited about the colour either - the hallway has been left rather dark and dingey. I think I might pop down to B&Q shortly and pick up some light lilac for the walls and I should already have some "brilliant white" ceiling paint for the ceiling in the hall as well.

In fact, I've got a couple of tester pots lying around somewhere from when I refurbished my lounge recently - right, I'm off to go and have a look

The Mini will have to stay in the garage waiting for me to sort out the second side. Doesn't look like we're going to get any nice weather to go burning around in it in the next couple of days anyway.
