What good is peace ?

The UK makes a small fortune from selling defence systems around the world. We sell both new kit and used equipment. The MoD even has its own agency / department for selling equipemnt. I saw these this morning, towed artillery, a stripped Lynx helicopter and old PC's.

This brings a small fortune into the UK econmoy both nationally and locally. Which ever governement is in the chair will prefer employed people in defence compared to unemployed people.

After any conflict another fortune is made rebuilding the country 'we' have destroyed. Most of the major construction contracts in Iraq have gone to the USA. Im sure the USA are obtaining the funds somehow from within Iraq.

So all in all war is a profit making buisness.

How much is a dead solider, im sorry to say but in the UK about £30k.
