I don't even see reflections. The gridwork is transparent; like a safety barrier. You can see the ground uneffected as it crosses the outter grid lines.
Then there is that third guy towards the bottom under the left guy. Why isn't he falling off?
Very mysterious pic. but i would guess these guys are on a horizontal plane

    Very curious

Or maybe that third guy is the left guys foot

I gotta stop looking at this

ok ... I promise to myself that I will not look at this pic again

anyway I must retract my horizontal theory. It appears to be an antenna with some sort of panels that may or may not be a climbing rigging as well as whatever else

then there is a harness & clip rigging on the guys

    anyway I'll shut-up now.

It's a picture from the very very very top of the Empire States Building in New York, New York USA. Sucks to be those guys when that light bulb burns out.

Yes. the picture was taken by a human being... the photographer is a famous New York Photographer... not famous enough for me to remember his name... but I live more than a 1000 miles from NY. Honest to God , I've visited his web site once!

I'm trying to find it again but Google's not being much help.

    “EMPIRE STATE”
Deke Johnson, left, and Tom Silliman worked 1,385 feet above street level to repair the electrical connections of an FM antenna atop the Empire State Building. Below them, ant-sized people on the observation deck imagined that they were the ones at the top of the world. 1/19/01 – New York, New York
