Formual 1
Any F1 fans here ?
Looking forward to micky the shoe maker winning it all again whilst the others fail to make the grade. Or are dull grey team Mcalren goin to be some competion. Renault are looking good along with BAR.
Williams might as well sit out the year becasue they are going no where again along with Toyata.
As for the rest,Jordan, Sauber, Red Bull, Minardi they are just making the number up. As for David ' hit me on the chin' Coulthard the quicker this dullard goes home the better

Yep I'm a fan, try to watch most races but I don't find it as interesting as it used to be.
-
nah shoemaker
winning too many now.

It will be even worse this year with the revised qualifying. We get to see the first session when no one will go out, tyre saving, but nothing from session 2.
Can you explain the logic behind that ?
-
keep us all on tenterhooks me thinks
-
Do you think so ?
I dont to be honest. They might as well not show session 1 and jut put session 2 on ITV 2 or 3, this in when the grid will be decided and as it is we will not see it at all. The first we will know is when they line up on the grid.
Its like having a 3 part drama and only drama and only showing the middle and end. Or like Football final, show first half and then the penalty shoot out.
ITV are a disgrace to the sport

I only like watching it to see the crashes..... I prefer stock car racing..... or is it stop car racing?
I used to go to one years ago at Hednesford raceway... used to love the figure of 8 one. Loved the smell of the engines.

we were planning to go to one in newport, but its closed down

The new rules are a waste of time only way to level the playing field is limit the amount of money a team can spend in 1 season and that should include drivers wages so if farrari want to pay shoe maker
£25 million a year then that would leave them less to spend on developing the car. As for not showing the full qualifying then people are or should vote with the remote and turn over, it is bad enough having to put up with adverts during the race just imagine if you were watching a football match and they cut off for adverts only to come back three minutes later to find someone had scored

I know this isn't Formula 1... But I pretty much only have the choice (money) to see either the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb or the AMA Superbike Weekend this summer...
Which would you rather see; two or three corners of Unlimited Class Rally cars climbing one of the tallest mountains in Colorado, or ridiculously fast Motorcycles in a very nice ‘stadium’ (they come down off the high bank into an infield 100mph right turn)? I can't make up my mind... take into consideration my wife will be tagging along.
