Even after this I still find FF slower than iE at loading images.

I also did this and it works fine now. But I now seem to have a new problem. The web page shown below keeps opening every now and then on its own. I am unable to figure out how to prevent this from opening. This always opens in the internet explorer and not in firefor. can anyone help

THat looks like spyware, this wouldn't create a popup and no you cannot do this on IE or I just don't know about it.
