    Mac Search Engine box question?

    Hi,

I don't how to start this but, I just got a mac yesterday and I was just wondering,

When you open a new browser window, next to where you type a website address there is a google search box. So I was just wondering, like PC but can you have a list of choice when you type a letter in and there will be a list of choice where you can chose drop down.

Sorry if am not making sense but I don't know how to say it, like, for example, if you type

"an" then there will be a list of choice where you can chose like this

    "an"

    and
    and I
    ant
    answer
    an advertise

    What browser are you using?

You are basically talking about "auto-complete" and or "suggestions".

How you set this would depend on which browser it is.

    Just a quick search suggests:

Safari Menu -> Preferences -> Autofill

    Check "Other Forms"

    no, that didn't work

when I click on "other forms", there is nothing there except from a history of the website I've been on

actually, I fix the problem now.

the only way to get suggestion on safari is to upgrade it to safari 4 (the new version)

thank you for your help by the way

    thanks
