Yeah that question was a tough 123456.
Yep, I would try it out, but the only 2 windows boxes in the house is the ol ladys Acer Vista Desktop and her IBM T23 XP. She would hit me with a frying pan if that taskbar appeared on either box. So I can only wonder about it.
Over all I'll give this a two thumbs upI've been playing with it a few days and I am starting to like it. Fast with low overhead.
I'm running within Win-XP SP3, AMD XP 3200+2.19 GHz, 1.18 gig of RAM and the is no noticeable system deterioration. It runs just like any other app within windows but is really a full Ubuntu System.. I must admit that there are a few minor hangups but these are mostly on the techie side (I like to see if I can break things) Best part is there is no system changes required.
I would recommend this setup for anyone who would like to learn Linux or who would like to have it easily available without rebooting.
