I liked your Linux File system link. I'm going to read up on it later.

I noticed a lot of Ubuntu links but you failed to list my favorite distro PCLinuxOS
I just wanted to say thanks for posting the link to GetPCLinuxOS. I've recently taken over the site and am doing major damage (changes..lol). As some of you may be aware, PCLinuxOS is about to release the last TR for its up and coming 2009 edition. PCLinuxOS is also what's called a META distro which simply means you always have the latest by updating through APT or Synaptic. I'm proud to be a part of the team there, and invite any and all Linux users, and others to come join in the fun... Happy 2009!!

csolisnfl, nice to have you join the forum. Now I have a PCL insider that I can direct my silly questions to.

By the way, damage to the site looks minimal Keep up the good work.

Thanks guys.. I'm not much of a hacker, just a server admin, mod, irc cop, etc.. But I did bring a friend along named Hootiegibbon.. He's a great one for answering questions.. Very knowlegeable indeed. Maybe I can sway a few more of our experts to take a peek over here and help out as needed..

HI. I have read post after post on Ubuntu. Ubuntu has a lot of net hook up problems. When I tried it with dial up I did not get it to work. I tried PCL user name, password, phone #, up & working. I have wireless net. I have had good luck running PCL. Two years +. Looking forward for the up and coming 2009 edition.
