After installing Hardy Heron on Panasonic CF-48 with Liteon DVDRW and trying to watch DVD movie this is my recommendation for Media Player with this setup. I installed libdvdcss and w32codecs like in desktop. Totem wouldn't work right. Gxine wouldn't work right. VLC and boom the movie would play. So in my experiance with my desktop and laptop VLC media player came through when proper codecs and stuff from previous post were installed. So for any new Ubuntu users I would go for the VLC player when trying to watch your movies on your personal computer.
