I need to but an external DVD writer, to run on an i-Book with Mac OS 9.2 and Ext hard drive space of 130 GB, it needs to have good software (customisation of how the DVD will look, chapter options, sound files etc) to make DVDs for the UK & USA.
Can you recomend?

Too late to respond? Well, Mac OS X has much better support for DVD burning, and has iDVD. I think mac OS 9.2 has a older iDVD. iDVD is good, but you can only choose a couple themes for your DVD. You can download some themes from some mac software sites.

For a DVD burner, you can use almost any external burner when you use PatchBurn ( http://www.patchburn.de/ , freeware) to make a profile for your burner.
