13 yr old father & 15 yr old mother...

I've no idea what to think or say about this but... here you guys so. Happening in UK btw.

The four-footer — who looks no more than eight — said: "I know I'm young, but I plan to be a good dad."

As he went on the PlayStation with 15-year-old girlfriend Chantelle Steadman, he added: "I think we'll be good parents. I'll have to work extra hard at school."

Chantelle looked up from 18-rated action game Saints Row II to admit her first night out of hospital since having 7lb 3oz daughter Maisie had been tough and had left her "in a daze".
More about this from these links.

Uk: "I Know I'm Young, But I Plan To Be A Good Dad"

It's been all over the papers here (UK). I think it's blatantly obvious that neither of these two children are capable of looking after a child by themselves so lets hope the parents of both families step in and take responsibility.

I was quite surprised to read about this. Not too sure how new the news is. I'd agree with you too DAL. I sincerely doubt that both of them are ready to be parents.

To me, Kids having Kids is nothing new. It's been happening since the dawn of time. All that really matters is what kind of community and family these babies are born into. If supportive. They'll be fine. If ostracized it will only end in disaster.

Hispanics in my neck of the woods adsorb these kinds of situations into the group family unit. Sometimes its successful if both kids truly love each other. If based on lust, it's doomed to fail no matter how much support is given. You see, I was a kid having kids in my day. And it ended in failure.

That is a sad story. The kids probably don't know how to take care of themselves.
BTW the second news link creates the below pop up. I think that I'm going to go scan my drive now.

I would be grateful for any comments on what happened. I did not click on any of the buttons on the pop up but killed FF when I saw that. Anyone seen that before? No other suspicious processes running.

For safety you might want to remove that link.

UPDATE: Malwarebytes didn't find anything. I did read that this is spyware trying to sell you malware which is what I thought that it is.

It brings up nothing in IE8 but IE8 could be blocking content.

Thank you lol. I'm wondering why a news site would have such an issue. I think I can only edit my latest post in each thread, though I'm not too sure.

I've noticed that after a certain amount of time we aren't allowed to edit our own posts. I don't know how long though.
